Chalky Blue
This is Chalky Blue. It's a garden apartment in Ilfracombe, up on the hill. You get good views out to sea from the veranda. It's on one level inside, so no stairs to worry about.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and they each have their own bathroom, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well looked after. The veranda is a proper suntrap, made of oak. You can sit out there with a drink. There's an enclosed patio area too, good if you've got a dog with you.
You're really close to everything here. The harbour and the town beaches are less than five minutes' walk downhill. There are cafes, chip shops, and pubs right there. The Tunnels Beaches and that big sea pool are about a ten-minute walk. It means you can easily leave the car.
The coastal path is right on the doorstep for walks. You can follow it towards Lee Bay. For a bigger beach day, Woolacombe and Croyde are about a fifteen-minute drive. They're great for surfing. You can get boat trips from the harbour to Lundy Island if you want to see the puffins and seals.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We accept one well-behaved dog.
