Wheelwrights is a cottage in a converted stone barn in Kentisbury Ford. It's in a small hamlet, so it's quiet. You get your own enclosed courtyard garden. It's a sun trap.
It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not luxurious.
The kitchen is open plan with the living area. Facilities are all there: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The local shop is about a ten minute walk. The nearest pub is a mile and a half away. There's a restaurant closer, about three quarters of a mile.
You're well placed for the north Devon coast. The big sandy beaches like Woolacombe, Croyde, and Saunton are about a twenty minute drive. Good for surfing. For rock pools, try the coves at Combe Martin or Lee Bay.
Exmoor is right on your doorstep. The coast there is dramatic, especially around Lynton and Lynmouth. You can get onto the South West Coast Path from there.
Barnstaple is the main town for shops, about fifteen minutes by car. It has a historic pannier market.
If you're looking for days out, there's the National Trust's Arlington Court nearby, or the Tarka Trail for cycling. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is about half an hour's drive.
