The Plough is in Berrynarbor, which is a small village inland from Combe Martin. It's a semi-detached cottage that was redone a few years ago.
It sleeps four across two bedrooms on the lower ground floor. One double, one twin. There's one bathroom with a bath and an electric shower over it. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped.
The living area is open plan, with a kitchen, dining, and sitting room. Doors lead out to a sun terrace. It gets the sun from morning through the afternoon. There are shared grounds too. There's a big, flat paddock for dogs and kids to run in, and a field opposite where you can see the owners' two Shetland ponies. There's a small children's play area, an orchard, and a covered games room with table tennis, table football, and darts. There's a shared laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a freezer with labelled drawers for each cottage.
Combe Martin and its beach are about two miles away. Ilfracombe is about four miles. That's where the harbour is, and Damien Hirst's Verity statue. You can get boat trips from there for fishing or to see seals. Exmoor National Park starts about seven miles to the east.
For walking, the South West Coast Path is accessible from Combe Martin or Ilfracombe. The Tarka Trail is nearby for cycling. Watermouth Castle and Combe Martin Wildlife Park are within a few miles.
