This place is called Chaffcutters. It's one of three cottages here in Kentisbury Ford, which is a hamlet in North Devon. It was converted from an old stone barn. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've brought dogs. We allow up to two. It's a courtyard garden, gets the sun.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. TV and WiFi are included. Parking is right outside.
There's a shop about five minutes walk away. A restaurant is a bit closer, maybe ten minutes. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half, so you'd drive.
You're well placed here for the north coast. Woolacombe, Croyde, and Saunton Sands are all about a twenty minute drive. Good for surfing or just the beach. Ilfracombe is about the same, for the harbour and Tunnels Beaches. The scenery gets more dramatic towards Lynton and Lynmouth, maybe half an hour away. The Southwest Coast Path is accessible from there.
Barnstaple is the main town, about fifteen minutes by car. They've got a pannier market and shops. For walking, you're on the edge of Exmoor. The Tarka Trail is nearby if you want to cycle.

The other two cottages here, Wheelwrights and Chapel Cottage, can be booked together if you've got a bigger group.
