Chaffcutters is in Kentisbury Ford. It's a stone cottage, converted from an old barn with one of the others next door. You can see where it used to be part of something else.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a four star, so it's comfortable. Everything works.
The main thing is the garden. It's an enclosed courtyard, and it gets the sun. It's a proper suntrap and it's completely private.
The location is good. The Tarka Trail for cycling and walking is close by. You're about twenty minutes from Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton beaches. Ilfracombe with the harbour is twenty minutes. Barnstaple is fifteen.
For Exmoor, you just drive up the hill. You can be on the moor in ten minutes. Lynton and Lynmouth, with the cliff railway, are about half an hour.
Facilities are straightforward. TV, wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, parking for one car. You can bring dogs, maximum of two. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair.
