Blue Beach House is in Ilfracombe, overlooking the harbour. It's a terraced house. The sea is right there, maybe ten yards from the back gate. You can see and hear it from the kitchen.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, four bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own shower rooms. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well finished and comfortable. The stairs are fine, but it's over three floors so there are a few of them.
You are right in the middle of things. The pub is a few doors down. Shops and restaurants are a minute's walk. It's not a quiet, tucked-away spot. It's lively.
The back patio looks straight over the harbour beach. You can sit out there and watch the boats. You can walk down for a swim or to go crabbing off the pier. The tunnel beaches are a short walk along the front, and the statue by Damian Hirst, 'Verity', is on the pier.
For days out, Woolacombe and Croyde beaches are about twenty minutes by car for good surf. Exmoor is close for walking. Combe Martin has a wildlife park, and Watermouth Castle is nearby. You can get on the cliff railway at Lynton.
It has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
