Hornblower is one of the apartments in The Admiral's House. It's on the harbour in Ilfracombe. You've got the water right there, and a view of the harbour and the beach from the windows.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything in the apartment is open plan.
The location is the main thing. You're a couple of minutes' walk from the shops, cafes, and a few pubs. There's a pub, The Quay, that's Damien Hirst's place. Boats go from the harbour for fishing trips, and in the summer the Lundy Island ferry runs from here too.
The coastal path starts right outside the front door. That leads you to Hillsborough Nature Reserve. There's a small sandy beach just below the building for paddling, or Hele Bay is a short walk.
For a bigger beach, Woolacombe and Croyde are about a 15 minute drive. They're good for surfing. Lynton and Lynmouth are half an hour away, with the cliff railway. Exmoor is close too.
The facilities are what you'd expect: TV, WiFi, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and a highchair available.
