Lee Studio

This is Lee Studio. It's one of a few places you can stay at Trimstone Manor, near Woolacombe in North Devon. It's just for two people. A bedroom and a bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable without being luxurious.

The studio has its own patio that looks out over the gardens. Inside, it's all open plan, so you've got the living space, kitchen area, and bedroom all together. It's straightforward. The bed's up a small step-ladder, so you need to be okay with that.

The main thing here is the shared stuff on the estate. There's an indoor heated pool, a sauna, a small gym, a games room, and a tennis court. The grounds are big. There are fields to walk in and a formal garden. They keep chickens, geese, and even peacocks, so you'll see them about.

For eating, the restaurant on site does breakfast and cream teas, but it's not open for lunch or dinner. They can give you a good list of local places though. There's a shop and a pub a few miles away in the village.

You're about three miles from the coast. Woolacombe beach is the big, sandy one nearby, good for a proper swim or learning to surf. Croyde and Saunton sands are close too if you want to try different spots. The Tarka Trail is good if you want to hire bikes and cycle. For a day out, Exmoor National Park isn't far. You can drive to Ilfracombe or Barnstaple for shops and things to do.

What's included: your bedding and towels, parking outside, WiFi, and a TV. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need one.
