5 Ocean Point is an apartment in Saunton. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy.
It’s a five star place, so it’s well kitted out. Underfloor heating, decent WiFi, dishwasher and washing machine. There’s a patio area and you have your own storage for bikes and beach gear.
It’s a duplex, so it’s on two floors. The main living area is downstairs. There’s no step-free access to it, you have to go down stairs. You can use the internal stairs from the building’s entrance, or there’s an external staircase down to the patio.
The main thing is the location. You’re about five minutes’ walk from Saunton Sands beach. It’s a huge, long beach, good for walking and surfing. The apartment looks right out over the coast.
You’re on the South West Coast Path straight away. Croyde and Woolacombe are along the coast, both famous for surfing. The Tarka Trail for cycling is nearby too.
Saunton Golf Club is right there if you play. Two links courses with sea views.
Barnstaple is about a twenty minute drive for bigger shops. Braunton is closer for basics. For a day out, you can drive to Exmoor, or up to the top of the coast towards Ilfracombe.
