Waters Edge is in Instow, right on the estuary. You can see the water from most of the windows. The house is attached, one of a pair. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It sleeps seven. There are three bedrooms upstairs, all doubles, and one bathroom. The main living room is upstairs too, which is a bit unusual. It has doors out to a small balcony, so you can sit and watch the boats. Especially at high tide.
The stairs are quite steep. Not a problem for most, but worth knowing about. There's a stairgate provided.
You can take up to three dogs. There's a small kennel in the courtyard if you need it. The garden is enclosed.
You're about a minute's walk from the beach. Instow is a quiet village with a good stretch of sand. There are a couple of pubs and places to eat within five minutes' walk. They do good seafood. The village shop is very close.
The Tarka Trail runs past the village if you like walking or cycling. It's flat and goes for miles.
Bideford is three miles away for bigger shops. If you have kids, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way are close by, around a 15-20 minute drive. For surfing, the better beaches are at Croyde and Woolacombe, which is about a 25 minute drive. Exmoor is within half an hour.
The house has parking. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair too.
