The Red Barn
The Red Barn is a converted barn near Ashford in Devon. It's not in a village. It's down a lane, on its own.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and it has two bathrooms which is handy. The main room is open plan. Kitchen at one end, sofas and a wood burner at the other. It's a good size.
The garden is big and private. There's a patio with a table. It gets the sun in the evening.
The rating is 4 Star. It's well kept. The stairs are wooden and a bit open, so watch your step.
You can bring one dog. There's a cot available if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
You can walk to the River Taw and the Tarka Trail in about ten minutes. It's a flat path, good for cycling.
Saunton Sands beach is about a fifteen minute drive. Barnstaple is ten minutes away for shops and supermarkets. Braunton is closer for a few bits.
For walks, the North Devon coast is nearby. The National Trust looks after a lot of it. The Exmoor National Park is about half an hour's drive.
