Dairy Cottage
Dairy Cottage is in Barnstaple, North Devon. It used to be part of a farm dairy, which is how it got the name. It's a three bedroom place that sleeps six. One bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well set up, nothing's missing. It's clean.
The cottage is on the edge of town, about a mile from the High Street. You get the countryside views and it's quiet, but you can walk into Barnstaple if you want to. There's a patio with a table. It's a sun trap in the morning.
Barnstaple has the usual shops and a pannier market. The North Devon Leisure Centre is over the river, they've got a big swimming pool there.
The beaches are a short drive. Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, and Woolacombe are all about twenty minutes away. Woolacombe is the big, sandy one everyone likes.
The Tarka Trail is right there for walking or cycling. It's flat, which is good. For a day out, the RHS Garden Rosemoor is about half an hour inland. Exmoor is about the same drive.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
