Midships is a terraced cottage in Instow, pretty much on the beach. It's got two bedrooms and sleeps four. There's one bathroom upstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The garden is out the back. It's a courtyard, enclosed, gets the sun. Good for a coffee in the morning.
Being here is mostly about the position. You're a couple of minutes' walk from the sand. The pub is about fifty yards away, and it does food. There's a shop a few hundred yards up the road.
The promenade is flat, good for a stroll or if you've got a pram. The Tarka Trail goes right through the village if you want to walk or cycle. Out on the water, you see a lot of sailing boats. The beach is sandy.
Bideford is two miles away for supermarkets and things. From there you can get the boat to Lundy Island. You can drive to Arlington Court in about twenty minutes. Barnstaple is about fifteen minutes by car.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are provided. We allow up to three dogs.
For more on the area, the Visit Devon site has information. The official page for the Tarka Trail is useful for route maps.
