The Penthouse Bay View

The Penthouse Bay View is a top floor flat in Westward Ho! It's in a modern building called Nassau Court, right on the sea front. The view is the main thing. You look straight out over the bay. It's a proper, wide-open sea view.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's very well finished. Everything's new and clean. The living room has big windows and a private balcony that runs along the front. You'll spend a lot of time out there. There's a lift from the car park up to the flat.

You're right on the promenade. The beach is just across the road. It's the main stretch of sand at Westward Ho!, good for a walk or if you've got kids with buckets and spades. The South West Coast Path goes right past the building if you want a longer walk.

The town itself is along the front. It's a traditional seaside place. There are shops for ice cream and fish and chips, a few arcades, that sort of thing. It's lively in the summer. There's a pub nearby. Surfing is popular here, the conditions are usually good for it.

If you want a change from the beach, Bideford is about ten minutes away by car. They have a pannier market on certain days. Barnstaple is maybe twenty minutes. It's bigger, with more shops. For a day out, you can drive to the surfing beaches at Woolacombe or Croyde in about half an hour. The National Trust's Arlington Court is about twenty-five minutes away for a walk and a cup of tea.

Facilities: it has wifi, parking, and everything you'd expect. No pets allowed. It's a luxury property, so the standard of things like the kitchen and bathrooms is high.
