Ash
This is Ash. It's a lower ground floor apartment, part of a bigger house. There's another one called Oak right next door. You can book them together if you need more space.
Ash sleeps six. There are two bedrooms. Both have super king beds that can be split into twins if you ask beforehand. One room has a single bed too. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath.
The kitchen has what you'd need, including a dishwasher and a coffee machine. The living area has a sofa bed. The windows look out over a nature reserve, which is just fields and trees really. It's quiet.
You get to use the shared garden and a big decked area with furniture. There's a swimming pool open from May to September. There's also a covered hot tub you can book privately, but it's only for kids aged 12 and over.
Getting into the apartment is via some steps, so it's not suitable for wheelchairs or if you have trouble with stairs.
It's just outside Bideford. The town centre and the riverfront are a short drive away. The nearest beaches are Westward Ho! and Instow, both about ten minutes in the car.
For walking, the Tarka Trail is good. It's a flat path on an old railway line, perfect for bikes. You can follow it to Instow or Barnstaple. The South West Coast Path is nearby too if you want something more rugged.
If you want a day out, you can get a boat from Bideford to Lundy Island. It's a nature reserve. Further afield, places like Clovelly, Exmoor, and the surf beaches at Croyde and Woolacombe are all within about half an hour.
Things included: all your bedding and towels, WiFi, parking. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two pets.
