Cutcliffe Chambers
Cutcliffe Chambers is a flat inside part of a big manor house near Stony Cross. It's high up so you get good views. The place sleeps four, two bedrooms, and it's got a bathroom each, which is handy. It's 5 Star, which means it's finished to a high standard.
The whole estate is 30 acres. You can walk around it. There are sheep in the fields, deer in the woods sometimes. The walled garden has vegetables. You can help yourself to some if they're in season.
The stairs up to the flat are stone and a bit uneven. The kitchen is modern. There's parking right outside your door.
You can bring one dog. The garden you can use is the shared bit near the flat, not the whole estate.
The nearest shop and pub are about five miles down the hill in Bideford. Bideford is a proper working town with a market. The quay is nice for a walk. The coast at Westward Ho! is about six miles north. It's got a big beach.
If you want a day out, Exmoor is about half an hour's drive east. Dartmoor is about an hour south. Clovelly village is 20 minutes along the coast, but you have to pay to go in.
