Skirr
Skirr is one of seven cottages in Town Mills, near Great Torrington. It used to be part of the old manor house. The whole place is a converted mill from the 1820s. It's on the river.
This one sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin. One bathroom. It's all on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to deal with. The living room has a big old fireplace with a wood burner.
Outside your front door is the main garden. There are also shared areas. There's an indoor swimming pool, kept warm. You can book it for just your group. There's a games room with a pool table and table football. For kids, there's a play area by the river, safely fenced, with swings and things.
Great Torrington is about a mile away for shops. The property is right next to Torrington Common, which is a big area for walks.
You're about 20 minutes' drive from the north Devon coast. Westward Ho! and Instow have good beaches. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is literally next door. The Tarka Trail is nearby if you like cycling. Arlington Court is about half an hour away, and so is the surfing at Saunton Sands.
Included: bedding, towels, WiFi, parking. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. You can bring up to two dogs. They provide a cot and highchair if needed.
