Beaford House
Beaford House is a big country house just outside the village of Beaford. It sleeps twenty one, so it's really for large groups or big family get-togethers. There are ten bedrooms and nine bathrooms, most of them en-suite.
The kitchen has an Aga, and there's a big dining room that works for special meals. Outside, there's a private swimming pool and a hot tub. The garden is large and there's a play area for children.
The house is registered as a wedding venue, so you can use the function room if you're having a celebration here.
It's a four star property, so it's well looked after.
There's a pub about three quarters of a mile away. The nearest shop is five miles away in Great Torrington. For a beach, Instow is good, especially with children. Woolacombe and Saunton sands are famous but a bit further.
Barnstaple has the main shops and a market. For a day out, RHS Garden Rosemoor is close, or you can walk on Dartmoor or cycle the Tarka Trail. Clovelly is a historic fishing village.
Facilities include the pool and hot tub, a BBQ, a washing machine, parking, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three pets.
