Four Seasons Cottage is at Stibb Cross. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level, which is handy. It sleeps twelve, and there are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's tidy and well set up. The main living area is open-plan, with the kitchen, dining, and sitting room all together. There's a log burner. There's also a separate room with a big TV for films.
Outside, there's a patio with a hot tub, and a pebbled garden. From early April to the end of September, there's a private above-ground swimming pool you can use. You share access to seven acres of land with the other cottage on site. There's a games lawn with football goals, and a small lake where you can fish. There are some horses here, and you can help groom them if you arrange it with me. You can also collect eggs from the chickens.
The village pub is a short walk away. It's a rural spot but the main road links are good for getting around. There's an electric vehicle charger here. You pay for it through an app.
For beaches, you're looking at about a twenty-minute drive to places like Westward Ho! or Instow. The Tarka Trail is just a few minutes away if you want to walk or cycle. Great Torrington is about five miles. Barnstaple is eighteen.
If you want to go further, Exmoor is about half an hour. The coast at places like Clovelly or Hartland is a similar drive. Into Cornwall, Bude and its canal are also about thirty minutes.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and all the bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. There's a seat for the bath or shower if you need one, just ask. Up to four dogs are welcome.
