Lynches

Lynches is in Parkham. It's a detached stone house on the lane, so you've got your own space. It sleeps eight, over five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with a group that size. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped.

The place has period features. Big inglenook fireplaces in the living rooms. They work, and you can have a fire. The stairs are old house stairs, so they're a bit uneven and turn sharply.

You're right in the village. The thatched pub is about 150 yards up the lane. They do food. The nearest shop is a few miles away in Horns Cross, so you'll want to come with supplies.

The garden is enclosed and private. There's parking on the drive for a couple of cars. It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.

For the coast, Westward Ho! is about seven miles. It's a long sandy beach. The surfing beaches like Woolacombe and Croyde are a 20 to 30 minute drive. The pretty harbour at Clovelly is also about half an hour away.

You're well placed for walking. The South West Coast Path is accessible nearby, and the Tarka Trail for cycling is close by. For a day out, RHS Garden Rosemoor is lovely. Boat trips to Lundy Island run from Bideford.
