The Barn is on our farm in Parkham. It's a detached stone barn we converted. You get your own bit of garden with a table and a barbecue.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not posh. The main room downstairs has the kitchen at one end and the sitting area with the wood burner at the other. It works.
You're welcome to walk around the farm. I do a tractor and trailer tour most weeks if you fancy it. There's a small play area for kids off the courtyard.
The Bell pub is about a five minute walk down the lane. They do food, and takeaways. The thatched pub in the village is about two and a half miles away.
The coast is close. It's about a fifteen minute drive to Westward Ho! for the big sandy beach. Bucks Mills and Clovelly are along that coast too, very pretty. National Trust Clovelly is worth knowing about for parking. Bideford is the nearest proper town, about twenty minutes away. You can get the boat to Lundy Island from there.
If you've got kids, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way are both within half an hour. For gardens, RHS Rosemoor is about twenty-five minutes drive.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can put out a cot and highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
