Nuthatch
Nuthatch is in Buckland Brewer. It's a detached place we built in 2022, set in our garden but it's all your own space. Sleeps two, one bedroom with a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room.
It's got a 4 Star rating, so everything is new and works properly. It's an open plan room downstairs. The decking is big enough for a table and chairs, and you look out over the fields. Parking for two cars.
There's a shop and a pub in the village. For a proper town, Bideford is about five miles away on the estuary. Barnstaple is fifteen miles.
If you're here for the coast, Westward Ho! is about four miles drive. The better surfing beaches like Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton are further, maybe twenty to thirty minutes by car. The South West Coast Path is stunning but rugged.
Locally, you can get on the Tarka Trail for walking or cycling. It's flat and follows the old railway. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is near Great Torrington, about a twenty minute drive.
For a day trip, you can get the boat to Lundy Island from Bideford. Exmoor National Park is about a half hour drive south, good for dark skies if that's your thing.
Inside there's a Smart TV, WiFi, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog.
