Tyrella
Tyrella is an apartment I own in Shebbear. It's on the first floor, above what used to be a stable. The main cottage next door is where I live. It's a 17th century building, so the walls are thick.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. The rating is 4 Star. Everything's included: bedding, towels, electricity, wifi.
The kitchen and living area are open plan. There's a TV, a washing machine, and a highchair if you need one. You can store bikes.
Shebbear is a small village. The pub is about twenty yards away. They do food. The shop is the same distance.
Every 5th of November, there's a thing in the village square where they turn a big stone. It's an old tradition.
You're in North Devon, so the coast is a drive. Westward Ho! and Bude are about half an hour away for beaches. The Tarka Trail is good for walking or cycling. For fishing or sailing, Tamar Lakes and Roadford Lake are nearby. There's a place for horse riding about five miles away.
If you want to go further, Dartmoor and Exmoor are within an hour. The Eden Project in Cornwall is about an hour and a half.
The apartment isn't suitable for pets. There's parking.
