Rosemary Cottage
Rosemary Cottage is in Highampton. It's a bungalow attached to our house. You have your own front door. It's all on one level, which is handy.
It's just for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but it's a cottage, not a hotel.
The living space is open plan. There's a kitchen area, a table, and a sofa with a TV. Outside, there's a private courtyard with seating. We share the main lawn and a bit of woodland behind.
It's very quiet here. You're in the middle of the Devon countryside. If you want a beach, Bude and the north coast are about 45 minutes by car. The beaches there are good for surfing.
For walking, you're in Ruby Country. The Tarka Trail is close by for cycling. Hatherleigh is the nearest village, about ten minutes away. It's got a couple of pubs, a shop, and a good cafe.
Dartmoor National Park is to the south, maybe 40 minutes' drive. Exmoor is about an hour north. If you like gardens, RHS Rosemoor is near Great Torrington.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The property allows up to three pets.
