Foxglove Lodge
Foxglove Lodge is one of six places to stay here at Springfield Meadows, near Halwill Junction. It's a detached lodge. You get your own garden and a private deck that looks out over the lakes.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. We refurbished it ourselves in 2019, so it's comfortable and clean.
The lodge sits in 14 acres of land, with three fishing lakes. You'll see a lot of wildlife. We've had barn owls, deer, and kingfishers here. The deck is covered, so you can sit out there even if it drizzles.
Halwill Junction village is about half a mile away. There's a shop for essentials, a post office, a chip shop, and a pub. Holsworthy is about seven miles off for bigger supermarkets.
If you want to get out, Roadford Reservoir is twenty minutes by car. Good for walks and sailing. The north Cornish coast at Bude and Widemouth Bay is about half an hour's drive for surfing or a beach day. Dartmoor National Park is also within easy reach.
Facilities: there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
