East Croft Barn

East Croft Barn is out near Halwill Junction, between Okehampton and Holsworthy. It's a detached barn conversion on our dairy farm.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room downstairs, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The main room is open plan, with a wood burner. There's a separate sitting room with a couple of day beds if you need them. That room has table football and doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed and gets the sun. You can see the fields from there.

You're on a working farm, so you'll see and hear the cows. They're quiet at night.

Halwill village is about a mile away. It has a shop, a post office, a pub that does food, and a fish and chip shop. Holsworthy is nine miles for bigger supermarkets.

Roadford Reservoir is 15 minutes by car. You can walk there or go sailing. Dartmoor is within easy reach for walking. The north coast around Bude is about 17 miles. Good for surfing.

If you want to go further, places like Tintagel, Padstow, and Clovelly are all under an hour's drive. RHS Rosemoor is about 40 minutes away.

The place has parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair friendly on the ground floor, with grab rails and a wet room. You can bring up to two dogs.
