This is Bluebell Lodge. It's a detached lodge on our site, Springfield Meadows, near Halwill Junction. You're on the Devon side of the border, so Cornwall isn't far.
The lodge sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We updated it in 2019, so it's fresh and clean. Everything's on one level, which is good if stairs are a problem. The entrance and doors are wheelchair accessible. You get your own enclosed garden with a patio area.
You can see one of the fishing lakes from the lodge. There are three lakes on site if you want to fish. We get a lot of wildlife around: deer, foxes, owls. You might see a kingfisher.
Halwill Junction village is about half a mile away. It's got a shop, a post office, a chippy, a village inn and a church. For a bigger shop, Holsworthy is seven miles. It has supermarkets.
Roadford Reservoir is a 20 minute drive. You can walk there, or sail. They've got a cafe by the lake. The coast at Bude and Widemouth Bay is about 17 miles. That's for surfing and beaches.
You're well placed for Dartmoor, which is about a 40 minute drive. The Dartmoor National Park site has walking routes and information.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
