Bay Tree Cottage is in Highampton. It's a bungalow on one level, so no stairs. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one shower room.
It's next to our house, so we're around if you need something. There's another cottage next to it, Rosemary Cottage, which is a bit bigger. You can book them together.
It's quiet here. You're in the middle of fields. There's a private courtyard out the back with a table and chairs. You also share a bigger lawn and a bit of woodland with the other cottage.
Inside, it's all open plan: living room, dining area and kitchen together. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. There's a TV and WiFi.
The village has a shop and a couple of pubs, about a mile and a half away in Hatherleigh. They do food. There's an archery place and the Warhorse Museum nearby if that's your sort of thing.
For coast, Bude and Westward Ho! are about 45 minutes north. Clovelly is similar. It's a steep, cobbled fishing village. South, you've got Dartmoor, about half an hour. Good for walking. You can often see the ponies up there.

Facilities: parking right outside, bedding and towels are included. The cottage takes up to two dogs.
