Fern Lodge

Fern Lodge is one of six lodges here at Springfield Meadows, near Halwill Junction. It's a detached lodge. You're on about 14 acres of land with three fishing lakes. It's quiet.

The lodge sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was built in 2022, so everything is modern and works. The doors are wide and there are no steps at the entrance, so it's reasonably accessible if you need that.

There's a covered deck out the back with table and chairs. The living area is open plan. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Everything is included: bedding, towels, electricity. You can bring up to two dogs.

Halwill Junction village is about half a mile away. There's a shop for basics, a fish and chip shop, and a pub. For a bigger shop, Holsworthy is seven miles. They've got supermarkets.

Roadford Reservoir is about 20 minutes by car. You can go sailing or walking there. The north coast around Bude and Widemouth Bay is roughly 17 miles. That's about half an hour. Good for surfing and beach days.

Dartmoor National Park is within half an hour if you go to the eastern edges. It's good walking country. You can find details of walks and things to see on the Dartmoor National Park website.
