Fern Lodge

This is Fern Lodge. It's one of six lodges here at Springfield Meadows, near Halwill Junction in Devon. The place sits in 14 acres of its own land, with three fishing lakes. It's quiet.

The lodge sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was built in 2022, so everything is fairly new. It has a 4 Star rating.

It's detached. You get your own covered deck area outside, which is good if it rains. There's parking right outside.

Inside, it's all on one level. The layout is open plan. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's WiFi and a TV.

You can bring up to two dogs.

Halwill Junction village is about half a mile away. There's a shop for basics, a post office, a fish and chip shop, and a pub. For a bigger shop, Holsworthy is about seven miles.

If you want to fish, you can do it on our lakes. For sailing or walking, Roadford Reservoir is a 20-minute drive. The north coast at Bude and Widemouth Bay is about 17 miles away for surfing or the beach.

Dartmoor National Park is within a 30-minute drive for walking. For a rainy day, Dingles Fairground is nearby.
