Wheelwright Cottage is in Halwill Junction. It's a single cottage attached to one other, on its own in the countryside. It's for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The place is all on one level, which is handy. You have your own patio out the back that gets the sun. It overlooks the shared garden, which is large and quiet. There's a firepit out there and we provide some logs. You might see birds and that. It's just you and the visitors next door using the garden space.
Inside it's open plan. There's a kitchen area, a sitting area, and the bedroom is through a doorway. It's straightforward. We include all the bedding and towels. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a stairgate fitted if you need it, and a cot and highchair are available.
The local shop and pub are about a mile away, in the village. They're fine. For fishing, you'd need to go a few miles.
Location wise, you're in the Ruby Country. It's good for walking and cycling straight from the door. Dartmoor National Park is about a 30 minute drive to the south. Cotehele and Buckland Abbey, both National Trust places, are within half an hour or so. The Eden Project is about an hour's drive.
