The cottage is called Acacia. It's on Thornbury Holiday Park, near Woodacott in Devon. It's a detached lodge, one of five by a fishing lake. You look out over the water. It's very quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean. Everything's on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
The park is about eight and a half acres. There are a couple of fishing lakes you can use. There's a meadow with paths for walking, and a kids' play area. It's good if you've got dogs, you can just let them out.
You're about four miles from Holsworthy. That's where the nearest shop is. The coast is about 13 miles away, so it's a bit of a drive to the beach.
If you want to get out, the Tarka Trail for walking and cycling is nearby. The Tamar Lakes are close for watersports. For a bigger day out, The Big Sheep or The Milky Way adventure parks are within half an hour. Bude and Westward Ho! are your closest proper beaches. Dartmoor and Exmoor are both about an hour's drive.
What's here: the lodge has a dishwasher, washing machine, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
