Cedar
Cedar is a lodge on the Thornbury Holiday Park in Woodacott. It's detached and sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean but not high-end.
It's in the middle of the countryside, about four miles from Holsworthy. The park has a couple of fishing lakes and about eight acres of meadow you can walk around. You can see the lake from the lodge. It's very quiet.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a washing machine, a cot if you need one, and bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
If you want to go out, Tamar Lakes are close by for water sports and more fishing. The coast at Bude is about a 25-minute drive for surfing. For a family day out, The Big Sheep or The Milky Way are both within half an hour.
Good walking is on the Tarka Trail, or you can drive into Dartmoor or Exmoor, both are under an hour away. The Eden Project in Cornwall is about a 45-minute drive.
