Point Break is in Westward Ho!, a few minutes walk from the village centre and the beach. It's a terraced cottage with a private side entrance. There's a small, enclosed garden out the front with a patio. It gets the morning sun.
It sleeps two, in one bedroom upstairs. There's one shower room across the landing from the bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are typical cottage stairs: a bit steeper than modern ones.
The main thing is the view. From the front bedroom window, and from the attic room we call the 'Crows Nest', you can see right out over the pebble ridge and the sea towards Baggy Point. You can see Saunton Sands from there too. The attic room has stools you can sit on to watch the sunset.
Everything you need is included: bedding, towels, WiFi, a washing machine. There's a woodburning stove in the living room for cooler evenings. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed. Pets are welcome, up to two.
Westward Ho! beach is about a five minute walk. The village has pubs, cafes, shops, and the usual seaside amusements. The local pub is a short walk away. The Surf School is just down the road, about four minutes walk.
For walks, the South West Coast Path is right there, and you can walk straight onto Northam Burrows. The Royal North Devon Golf Club is about a mile away. It's the oldest links course in England.
Appledore is a ten minute drive, Instow about fifteen. Clovelly and Hartland are within a half hour drive, but the roads to those are narrow and can be slow. For a wider view of the area, National Trust North Devon and North Devon National Landscape sites are useful.
