Point Break is in Westward Ho! It's a terraced cottage a few minutes walk from the beach and the main village. You get the side entrance to yourselves, which leads to a private, enclosed garden. It's good for a coffee or if you've got dogs.
The cottage sleeps two. It's one bedroom, one bathroom, with a 4 Star rating. Everything's clean and in good order. It's a cottage, so the stairs are steep. That's worth noting.
The living room is downstairs. It's got two sofas, a dining table, and a woodburning stove if you want it. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine.
Upstairs is the double bedroom. It looks out over the pebble ridge towards Baggy Point and Saunton Sands. The shower room is across the landing. There's another, steeper set of stairs that goes up to a small attic room. They call it the crows nest. It's got a view over Bideford Bay, but it's not a bedroom.
Westward Ho! beach is about five minutes walk. The village has the usual seaside things: shops, cafes, pubs, amusements. You can walk onto the pebble ridge and over into Northam Burrows Country Park. The local surf school is a few minutes walk away. The Royal North Devon Golf Club is about a mile.
If you want to drive out, Appledore and Instow are close. Clovelly is about half an hour. The National Trust has a few places nearby like Arlington Court. You can walk sections of the South West Coast Path from the door.
Facilities wise: parking is on site, bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV. You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
