Apartment 11 - Latitude 51
Apartment 11 is in Latitude 51, right on the seafront at Westward Ho! It's a modern block. Your apartment is on the upper floors.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The main bedroom and the living room look straight out over the beach. You get a Juliet balcony, so you can stand and look but you can't step out. The view is good, especially when the tide is in.
The place has a 5 Star rating. It's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything is on one level inside, which is handy.
You're right on the promenade. The beach is literally across the road. It's a sandy beach, good for sandcastles and surfing. The South West Coast Path runs past here too, so you can walk from the door.
Westward Ho! itself is a typical seaside place. There's a long promenade, arcades, shops selling buckets and spades. It's busy in the summer.
For a quieter time, Appledore is just up the estuary. It's a proper fishing village with narrow streets. Bideford is about ten minutes away by car. They've got a pannier market and more shops.
Facilities: there's parking on site, which is important here. You get a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
