The Mount
The Mount is a first floor flat in Appledore. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms, and there's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main thing is the view. You look straight out across the estuary toward Braunton Burrows. You can watch the boats, including the Lundy Island ferry going past.
The flat is wheelchair accessible from the car park to the front door and into the main living space. There's a dedicated electric vehicle charger.
You're right on the edge of the village. The National Coastal Path is literally out the door, leading to Northam Burrows and Westward Ho! beach. That beach is good for surfing. The pub and a restaurant are about five minutes' walk. Appledore has a few pubs, some do food and music.
For days out, Bideford Quay is a few miles away for Lundy trips. Clovelly is about a half hour drive. The local area has golf, horse riding, and fishing all within five miles or so.
Inside, it's well-equipped. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Sorry, no pets.
