The Mount
The Mount is a flat in Appledore. Two bedrooms, sleeps four. It's got a 4 Star rating, which I think means it's comfortable and everything works.
The main thing is the view. It looks right out over the estuary towards Braunton Burrows. You can watch the boats and the ferry to Lundy Island going past.
It's a first-floor flat. There's a step to get into the building, but the entrance and the flat itself are all on one level inside. There's parking and an electric car charger.
Appledore is a fishing village. The flat is about five minutes' walk from the front, where the pubs and places to eat are. It's a busy little place, especially in the season. There's often live music.
You're basically on the South West Coast Path here. You can walk out the door and be on it, heading towards Northam Burrows and Westward Ho! beach. That's about a twenty minute walk. The beach is popular for surfing.
Bideford is just over the river. You can get the ferry across from Appledore. The trip to Lundy Island leaves from Bideford Quay. Clovelly is about twenty minutes' drive away.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's no bath, just a shower.
