Lodge 59

Lodge 59 is on Northmoor in Devon. It's a single-storey, detached lodge set in a park. It's quiet, and you get a view over the fishing lakes. You can fish there for free if you bring your own gear.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything is on one level, which is handy.

You're about four miles from Clovelly, which is that village with the steep cobbled street. The coast is a short drive. Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe, and Croyde Bay are all good for beaches and surfing. Bideford is close by, and you can get the boat to Lundy island from there.

The Tarka Trail is right nearby if you want to cycle or walk. For a day out with kids, The Big Sheep or The Milky Way Adventure Park are about. Hartland Point is worth a trip for the coastal scenery.

Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is allowed.

The nearest shop is about three and a half miles. There's a pub and restaurant just over two miles away.
