The Nook
The Nook is in Higher Clovelly, near Bideford. It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two. We're part of an old farm building that's been converted, so there are some beams and arched windows. It's a solid 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxury. You get stunning views down to the coast.
The bedroom and bathroom are on the same floor, which is handy. There's a patio with garden furniture. Parking is right outside.
You're up a farm track, so it's quiet. The nearest shop and pub is about two miles away in Bucks Cross. Clovelly village is about two miles the other way. It's a famous spot, with the steep cobbled street down to the harbour. It's privately owned, so there's a small entry fee. Worth it for the walk down and the view.
The real draw is the coast. You're three miles from the South West Coast Path. Lots of fantastic walking from there. Dog friendly beaches like Peppercombe or Westward Ho! are within a twenty minute drive. The pretty village of Hartland is about three miles away, they have pubs and a good bakery.
Inside, it's open plan living. There's a TV, a washing machine, and towels are included. We allow one dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
