This cottage is called Timbers. It's on Northmoor, near Woolsery in Devon. It's detached, which means you're not sharing any walls. You get your own space.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything you need is on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating. So it's clean and comfortable, not luxury. The view from the living room and the deck is over fields and a lake. It's quiet here.

The village of Woolsery is about two and a half miles away. There's a shop, a pub, and a good chippy. For the coast, it's about seven miles to some great beaches. Westward Ho! and Woolacombe are good for surfing. Clovelly is very close, about four miles. It's that one with the steep cobbled street and no cars. Bideford is twelve miles, and you can get a boat to Lundy Island from there.
If you want to drive a bit further, RHS Rosemoor gardens are worth a visit. There are also places like The Big Sheep or the Milky Way Adventure Park for kids, both within half an hour. For walking, the coastal path around Hartland Point is great, or you've got the woodland right here.
