Threshing is one of three barns here in Venn, Devon. It's for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done to a high standard.
The barn is open plan inside, with high ceilings and oak floors. It's all on the ground floor, which is useful. You've got your own courtyard to sit out.
There's a shared meadow and a barbecue area with a herb garden. The owners have a smallholding next door with chickens and vegetables. They've put up bird and bat boxes around the place. There's an owl observatory you can use.
For getting about, you'll need a car. The beach at Bucks Mills is about two and a half miles away. It's a sand and shingle beach and dogs are allowed. The villages of Hartland and Clovelly are a short drive. Clovelly is the one with the steep cobbled street and donkeys.
The local village, Woolfardisworthy, is two miles away. It has a shop, a pub, and a fish and chip shop. For a bigger beach, you can drive to Westward Ho! or over the border into Cornwall to Bideford and Bude.
There's space here to store bikes or surfboards. We've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and parking. You can bring up to two dogs.
