Hawthorne is in Northmoor. It's a detached bungalow, so it's all on one level. That's useful if stairs are a problem.
It sleeps six. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, not swanky. The decking wraps around two sides and it's enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids. There's a lake on the site where you're allowed to fish.
You're out in the countryside. The local shop and pub are about two and a half miles away in the village.
The coast is about a 30 minute drive. Woolacombe has a good beach for swimming and surfing. Clovelly is worth a trip, it's that fishing village with the steep cobbled street. Hartland Quay is rugged coastline, good for a walk.
For a wet day, The Big Sheep or The Milky Way are within half an hour. They're big indoor play places for children.
It's got the basics: a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot. Parking is right outside. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline around here. For walks and the area in general, the North Devon National Landscape site has maps and information.
