Birdsong Cottage is near Northmoor in Devon. It's on the edge of a lot of Forestry Commission land, so it's quiet. You hear the birds. The garden is enclosed and quite big, with a view over the fields and trees.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's clean and comfortable. The living area is all open plan. There's a step down into it from the entrance, just so you know.
The cottage is about two miles from the main A39 road. The village of Woolsery has a pub that does food, about two miles away. There's a shop in the other direction, about three miles.
You're well placed for the coast. It's about seven miles to Westward Ho! or Bude. Clovelly, with its famous cobbled street, is about four miles. For a quieter beach, Bucks Mills is closer. It's a small, shingle beach in a little valley.
If you like walking, you've got the woods right there. The Tarka Trail for cycling is nearby too. You get a pass for fishing in the lakes next to the property.
In terms of things here: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, a BBQ, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring two dogs.
