Atlantic House is on our farm in Titchberry, near Hartland. It's a converted barn, detached, so you've got your own space. The main thing is the view. You look straight out to sea. It's not a glimpse between trees, it's the whole horizon.
It sleeps twelve. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's a five star rating, which means it's well finished and has everything. It's spacious, especially the big open plan room on the ground floor. That's where everyone ends up. There are beams and stone walls, it's not a blank box.
Outside, there's a patio right outside the living area for watching the sea, and a larger courtyard garden. There's also a deck with a hot tub. The farm is still working, so you'll see sheep and cattle. We've got some farm animals people can visit, including a donkey called Hank.
As for the location, you're right on the coast path. You can walk down a track from the house to a little beach called Berry Beach. It's rocky and sandy, good for exploring. Hartland Quay is about a 40 minute walk along the coast path. They've got a pub and a shop there. The proper village of Hartland is about three miles away for other shops and pubs.
If you drive, Westward Ho! and Bude are the big sandy surfing beaches, about half an hour. Clovelly is famous, it's a steep cobbled street down to the harbour. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here, and their website is good for walks. For a day out, RHS Rosemoor gardens are impressive.
We've also got an indoor play barn on the farm with a pool table, table tennis and skittles. There's a field for games. It's useful if the weather turns.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi. We include the electricity. There's parking right by the house. We can take up to two dogs. We leave a welcome pack for you when you arrive.
