This is Hawthorn. It's one of three cottages on the farm here in Hartland. It's for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable. The garden is yours, and it's enclosed, so it's good for dogs.
You're on a working farm. There are horses, donkeys, sheep, and chickens about. The view from the cottage is over the fields towards the coast. You can see Lundy Island on a clear day.
The village of Hartland is about a mile away. It's got a couple of shops, a post office, a café, and three pubs that do food. They're all dog friendly. The coast is about three miles. You can walk to it via footpaths from about a mile away.
Hartland Quay and Hartland Point are dramatic spots on the coast. Clovelly is a famous fishing village, about a fifteen minute drive. It's steep and cobbled. Bucks Mills is similar and quieter. For a big beach with surfing, you'd drive to Westward Ho! or Bude. That's about half an hour.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
We allow up to two dogs. There's an outdoor tap to wash sandy paws off, and two fields where you can let them run off lead safely.
