Tamarisk is one of three cottages on our farm in Hartland. It's detached, so you're on your own. The views are good, straight out over the fields to the sea. You can see Lundy on a clear day.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's a 5 Star property, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. Everything is on one floor, which is handy.
You're on a working farm. There are horses, donkeys, sheep, and chickens. The garden is enclosed. There's an outdoor tap for washing off sandy dogs, and we have a couple of fields where you can let them run off lead.
Hartland village is about a mile away. It's got a couple of shops, a post office, a chip shop, and three pubs that do food. They're all dog-friendly.
The coast is three miles. Hartland Quay and Hartland Point are dramatic. The walking is excellent straight from the door. The South West Coast Path is right here. Clovelly is about a twenty-minute drive.
For a bigger beach day, Bude or Westward Ho! are within half an hour. There's fishing and watersports at Tamar Lakes, which is about a fifteen-minute drive.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
