The Square is in the middle of Hartland village. It's a terraced house. It used to be the draper's shop. You can see the village square out the front windows.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. The stairs are quite steep, which is normal for these old places.
There are three pubs within about fifty yards. All do food. The village shop is just as close for basics.
The garden is enclosed and gets the sun. It looks out over the valley at the back, so it's quiet. There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave logs for you to get started.
It's a very dog-friendly area. We take up to three dogs. There are some good dog-friendly beaches nearby. Hartland Quay is about two miles away. The coast path runs right past it. The cliffs are dramatic.
If you want to drive out, Clovelly is about twenty minutes away. Westward Ho! and Bude for surfing are within half an hour. For a day out, National Trust Hartland has information on the coast and nearby places like Hartland Abbey.
Facilities: parking is on the village square outside. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and highchair.
