Homeleigh
Homeleigh is a holiday cottage at Burracott Farm, near Poundstock. It's a conversion, so it's one half of a semi-detached stone barn. The other half is a separate cottage. You have your own enclosed garden with a patio. The view from there is just fields. There are sheep in them sometimes.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped. The conversion kept some of the original features, like the beams. They’re low in a couple of doorways, so you have to mind your head.
Being on a farm, it's peaceful, but you're not isolated. Bude is about five miles away. That's where you'll find the main supermarkets, beaches, and things like the indoor pool. It's a proper seaside town. For a quieter beach, Millook is closer, about three miles. The coastal path is right there.
If you want to explore, Boscastle and Tintagel are about half an hour's drive up the coast. The Eden Project is about 40 minutes south. Dartmoor and Exmoor are both within an hour or so for a day out.
The facilities are what you'd need. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
