Ross is a two-bedroom cottage on a riding school near Launceston. It sleeps four, has one bathroom, and is rated 3 Star. It's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
The cottage is part of a small group of barns set around a courtyard, looking over the stables. You have your own patio area. The main thing here is the site itself. It's a horse riding school, so you can book lessons. There's also a heated outdoor pool and a games room. The grounds are about 23 acres, with a fishing lake.
Being on a riding school means you'll hear horses and general stable sounds. If you're not into that, it might not be the right place. It's a quiet, rural spot though, down a wooded lane.
Launceston is about two miles away. It's got shops, a castle, and a leisure centre. You're right on the border, so you can get into Devon easily. Dartmoor is about a 25-minute drive. For the north Cornish coast, places like Tintagel and Boscastle are within half an hour. The south coast, around Looe or Polperro, is about 45 minutes.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a wood burner, a TV, and WiFi. The kitchen has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside the cottage.
