Ross is a cottage on a farm just outside Launceston, Cornwall. It's part of a small group of barn conversions set around a stable yard. The place is a horse riding school, so you'll see horses and riders about. You can have a go at riding if you want to.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. It's a bungalow, so no stairs. The layout is open plan.
There's a wood burning stove for cooler nights. You get a private patio and garden area. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, cot, and highchair if you need them. WiFi and parking are on site. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
On the farm itself there's a heated outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub, and a sauna you can use. There's also a coarse fishing lake and paintball available.
Launceston is about two miles away. It's got shops, pubs, a castle, a golf course, and a leisure centre. The town was once the capital of Cornwall.
For coast, Widemouth Bay and Bude are north, about half an hour's drive. Tintagel and Port Isaac are a bit further, maybe forty minutes. To the east, Dartmoor is also within thirty minutes. Bodmin Moor is even closer.
