This is Rosemary. It's one of the cottages at Sherrill Farm over in Dunterton. The place used to be farm buildings, so it's all stone and thick walls. It feels solid.
Inside, it sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. We do our best to keep it comfortable and clean.
You're basically booking this place for the grounds and the leisure stuff. There's 16 acres here. The indoor pool is heated, there's a games room, a little gym, a hot tub, and a bowling alley. That's all shared with the other cottages, but it's for guests only. It's open until 9pm. Outside, there's a kids' play area, an all-weather tennis court, and a few ponds. One's for wildlife, the others you can fish in if that's your thing. You'll see badgers sometimes if you're out in the evening.
The cottage itself has a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi, and a patio with a BBQ. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
Location wise, it's quiet. You're on the Devon and Cornwall border. The nearest pub is about a mile away, it does food. A proper shop is about four and a half miles.
For getting out, you're right next to Dartmoor. Dartmoor National Park is minutes away for walks. The Tamar Valley is a short drive. Tavistock is six miles east, it's a nice market town. Launceston is over in Cornwall, also about six miles. The north and south coasts of both counties are within an hour's drive if you want a beach day.
If you're looking for historic houses, the National Trust's Cotehele is nearby, and so is Buckland Abbey.
