Tarragon

Tarragon is the name of the cottage. It's at Hurlditch Court, which is near Lamerton. It's set back in the middle of a farm, around 80 acres. Very quiet. You'll see sheep.

It's a detached place, all on one level. It sleeps two, one bedroom with the bathroom right next to it. It's got a 4 star rating so it's been done up to a good standard. Everything is new.

Because it's all on the ground floor, and the doorway is level, it works well if you have mobility issues or just don't want stairs. The shower is a walk-in.

You've got a private patio area with a table. The views are over the fields. There's parking right outside.

Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen area is at one end, then the living space, then the bedroom. It's got a washing machine, the WiFi is decent, and all bedding and towels are there.

The local pub is about a mile away in the village. It's a proper walk, maybe 20 minutes.

You're in a good spot for getting to things. Dartmoor is right there for walking. Dartmoor National Park has all the route information. The Tamar Valley is close, it's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Plymouth is about half an hour by car if you need a city day or want to see the historic docks.

For a longer day out, the north coast beaches like Bude are under 45 minutes' drive. The National Trust Tamar Valley page has good ideas for that area, like Cotehele. The Eden Project is about 50 minutes away.

No pets. It's just for two people.
