Hollyhock

Hollyhock is in Tavistock. It's a one-bedroom apartment on the lower ground floor of our house. We live upstairs.

It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. It sleeps two, with one double bed. There's one shower room. We allow one dog.

You get to it down a few steps from the garden. The stairs have a handrail. Inside, there's a room with sofas, a table, a TV, and a wood burner. The kitchen is off that room. It has a cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and a washer/dryer.

Outside, there's a bit of garden with a table and chairs and a barbecue. You can park on site.

You can walk into Tavistock town centre in about ten minutes. There's a good market, shops, and places to eat. A pub is a few minutes walk away.

You're right on the edge of Dartmoor. It's about a five minute drive to get onto the moor properly, or you can walk from the door. For walks and planning, the Dartmoor National Park website is useful.

If you want to go further, the coast at South Devon or Cornwall is about a 40 minute drive. There are several National Trust places within half an hour, like Cotehele or Buckland Abbey.

It's got WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's an electric vehicle charger.
