Garden Cottage is up near Gunnislake, in a little spot called Hatches Green. It's detached, in the grounds of our place. We've got a couple of acres here, woods and a bank of primroses, so it's quiet. You might see foxes or badgers. It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable.
The cottage is yours, but we're next door in the main house if you need anything, like a torch or to ask about the bins. We'll leave you alone otherwise.
The garden is enclosed, there's a picnic table and a barbecue. There's parking right outside the door. Inside, it's got a TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. You can bring up to two dogs.
You can walk into Gunnislake village, it's about half a mile for the pub. The shop is a bit further. The area is really for walkers. You're right by the Tamar Valley, on the border with Devon. The railway walk along the river is good. You're close to the Tamar Bridge for crossing into Devon.
Within half an hour you can drive to Tavistock or Callington. For the coast, you're looking at about forty minutes to places like Looe or Whitsand Bay. The moorland is the other way, towards Dartmoor.
